New CicLAvia Architecture Guide
Posted April 10, 2012
Prev: CicLAvia 2013
Next: L.A. Weekly's CicLAvia...

CicLAvia has created a new guide to selected Architecture and Design highlights along the CicLAvia route. It's part of our CicLAvia Walks initiative to encourage participants to slow down and take in great sights along the route.

The guide will be available at all the six hubs and at all the volunteer-staffed crossing point intersections along the route. You can also download and print your own from the CicLAvia media page - download the guide directly here.

The guide includes:

  • historic places - Bradbury Building, City Hall, Fourth Street Bridge
  • contemporary architecture - Police headquarters, Caltrans Building
  • street designs - new green bike lane on Spring Street

There are hundreds of great buildings, historic and contemporary along and near the CicLAvia route - so we couldn't include them all. If we missed a favorite building of yours, leave us a comment below - and maybe we can get it into a future guide! For the most exhaustive guide to architecture and history along the CicLAvia route, see this great post at Militant Angeleno.
