March 3, 2019 marks the 91st anniversary of Culver CityBus. This anniversary also falls on the same day as the first CicLAvia open streets event in 2019, creating the opportunity for a true mobility partnership, showing how open streets and transit can work together. In recognition the integral part Culver CityBus plays in the transit landscape, the Mayor and City Council have declared Sunday, March 3, 2019 as a “Free Fare Day” to thank riders for their patronage and encourage others to try transit as a viable option to get to CicLAvia or wherever their day takes them! Metro Bikeshare
Metro has many bike share stations throughout the city. Walk up to any station with a kiosk to purchase a pass and ride. The Ballona Creek Bike Path and Expo Line Bike path both run near the CicLAvia route! They intersect at the Syd Kronenthal Park in Culver City, just .3 miles from the Arts District Hub.
