Parking/ Arriving:
Volunteers are responsible for their own parking. Please check posted signs for restrictions. Use the following address to located street parking in the area.

Additionally, Bike Racks will be available at the hub to lock your bike, please bring your own lock.
Recommended Items to bring:
In order to maximize your volunteer experience we recommend you bring the following items:
- Your BIG bright smile =)
- Refillable Water Bottle
- Sunscreen
- Comfortable walking shoes & attire
You will be provided with a volunteer shirt upon checking in for your shift. You are required to wear the volunteer shirt for the duration for of your shift.
Snacks, Lunch and Water:
Snacks and water will be provided to all volunteers. Lunch will be provided to volunteers completing 2 or more shifts.
Checking out:
As a courtesy we ask that you not forget to check out for your shift to account for your hours. Please do not leave without checking out with your Hub Volunteer Coordinator at the end of your shift or when you need to leave. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
Volunteer Training and Orientation:
Volunteer orientations are provided to all volunteers interested in learning more about how to maximize their experience and roles. Orientations are not mandatory but highly recommended for all volunteers. At the orientations you will learn event details, CicLAvia's Safety Tips and get trained in your position.

Hub Angels:
Hub Angels will be assigned to one of the following duties:

Survey Angels:Survey Angels will be assigned to roam the hub area to conduct and distribute surveys CicLAvia participants in our ongoing research effort.

Crossing Angels:Crossing Angels will be assigned to the Plummer/ Van Nuys Car Crossing Intersection located south of the hub.
Please return all items or transfer to volunteers for the next shift at the end of your shift. Crossing Angels will support Traffic Officers by ensuring CicLAvia participants are yielding to pedestrian traffic at the crosswalk.

Route Angels:Route Angels are our trusty volunteers who come to save the day. Being ever so vigilant in making sure CicLAvia participants have a safe and fun ride. They roam a portion of the route to assist with the following:
Route Angels checking at this hub will be assigned to Section 3, 4 or 5.
