Who We Are

Meet the CicLAvia team!

Bobby Gadda

serves as the Board President of CicLAvia. He works as a Program Coordinator at the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition. In addition, he volunteers at the Bicycle Kitchen as a bike repair educator, and serves on their board of directors as well.

Nidia Garcia-Erceg

has a comprehensive background in the areas of urban planning, facilitation and mediation,and environmental education. As an advocate and urban planner she is principal at City Vida Consulting.

Colleen Corcoran

is a graphic designer and design educator who has done work for a variety of community organizations, public agencies and cultural institutions around Los Angeles. Her design and advocacy work focuses on ways to use design as a tool for education and positive change within the urban environment.

Tafarai Bayne

Tafarai Bayne is a Los Angeles native with professional experience in community organizing, political campaign management, program development, marketing, event production and communications. He currently works with TRUST South L.A., addressing issues of land use in South Los Angeles.

Catherine Geanuracos

leverages technology and media to create global movements that respond to urgent social and environmental issues. Her firm, New Economy Campaigns, provides digital, event, and communications strategy consulting for social value projects and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Daisy Lin

Daisy Lin is a News Producer at NBC4-TV, where she covers community and health issues.  She also directed a documentary, Yours Truly Miss Chinatown, which premiered at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.

Eric Metz

is a developer and urban planner at Urban One and is currently working on the Downtown L.A. Streetcar initiative.

Miguel Luna

is a Colombian native living in L.A., founder of Urban Semillas an organization working with youth and monolingual Spanish-speaking communities on building capacity, functional spaces and social justice.

Aaron Paley

has been producing, consulting and creating events in public spaces for the past 27 years. He is the president of Community Arts Resources.

Jonathan Parfrey

is executive director of Climate Plan. For the past four years, Parfrey served as director of the GREEN LA Coalition, Southern California's environmental coalition, where he remains on the steering committee. In 2008, he was appointed by Mayor Villaraigosa to the Los Angeles Board of Water and Power Commissioners where he is serving a five-year term.

Stephen Villavaso

is a civil engineer and a board member of the LA County Bicycle Coalition(LACBC).

Heidi Zeller

is an arts organizer and cultural planner with a focus on the role of art in public space.
