It’s an honor to collaborate with LA2050 for our 30th event, CicLAvia—Wilmington on April 28. We both believe in working toward a better LA.
And together, we’re encouraging Angelenos to become active participants in shaping a future LA, defined by happier, healthier, and more connected communities.
This route inspires us to slow down even more than at other CicLAvia events. We want you to talk with each other and enjoy everything that the historic community of Wilmington has to offer. We want you to re-imagine our streets as safe, vibrant public spaces that help make LA the best place to learn, play, connect, create, and live. In honor of this partnership, we recently asked our social media community how they would make LA a better place. The responses inspire us! Here are just a few of our favorites.
If you’re feeling inspired too, we encourage you to submit your proposal to LA2050’s Grants Challenge by 5pm on March 29. Each year the MyLA2050 challenge awards $1 million to 10 organizations to effect change, collaboration, and civic impact in LA.
