Hollywood is known as the “Entertainment Capital of the World”, where much of American culture is either produced, replicated, or amplified. Along with the City of West Hollywood and the City of Los Angeles neighborhood of East Hollywood, the Hollywoods make up an approximate ~35 sq mile area famous for their many attractions and dining experiences. Tail O' the Pup

Established in 1946, Tail O’ the Pup is an iconic, hot dog-shaped joint that has been a popular site for filming locations and photo opportunities in WeHo. If you’re a fan of unusual architecture, this is a must-see.
Breakfast by Salt's Cure

Astro Burger WeHo

With multiple locations throughout Los Angeles, Astro Burger is an independent, family-owned restaurant that has served the area breakfast, lunch, and dinner since 1974. According to Time Out's interview with Astro Burger owner, Cosmos Kapantzos, “... it was Astro Burger that introduced Los Angeles to the Gardenburger back in 1986 (the same year he went vegetarian), and it's been on the menu ever since.”
The Formosa Cafe

Established in 1939, The Formosa is an Asian eatery known for its red-leather booths and its dining trolly, which makes use of a retired Pacific Electric Red Car. Golden Age celebrities such as Elvis, James Dean, and Ava Gardner would frequent this spot back in the day—just take a look at all the headshots lining the walls!
Miceli's Italian Restaurant

Opened in 1949, Miceli's Italian Restaurant is known for being the longest serving Italian restaurant in the Hollywood area. Miceli’s is also famous for its singing waitstaff, who often perform with live music during dinner shifts.
Musso & Frank Grill

Since 1919, Musso & Frank Grill has served countless Hollywood elites such as Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, and many others. In addition to serving famous Hollywood icons, Musso & Frank Grill holds the record for being the oldest eatery in Hollywood, serving the community—as well as Hollywood stars—for over 100 years.
Hollywood Farmers’ Market

The Hollywood Farmers Market was founded in 1991 and is currently located on Ivar and Selma Ave. Open on Sunday’s from 8am - 1pm, the market is a hotspot for fresh produce, food vendors, and artisanal crafts. Thai Town
East Hollywood
Towards the Eastern end of the CicLAvia route you will notice you’ve entered Thai Town. This area has served as a major gateway for the Thai community since 1965. Fun fact: LA County has the highest population of Thai people outside of Thailand! Our Thai Town is the only officially recognized Thai Town in the US. Hollywood / Highland Station Art

Underground Girl by artist Sheila Klein, located within Hollywood/Highland (B Line) Station, honors Hollywood for all its, “...cinematic, theatrical, and fantastical heritage.” Many of the installations draw inspiration from surrounding iconic landmarks such as: Grauman’s Chinese Theater, the El Capitan Theater, the Egyptian Theater, and the Hollywood Bowl.
Hollywood / Vine Station Art

Hooray for Hollywood by artist Gilbert (Magu) Luján, located at Hollywood/Vine (B Line) Station showcases 240 hand-glazed art tiles on the station walls. Each tile evokes the, “…history, glamour, and excitement of the Hollywood film industry’s yesteryears and its great movie palaces.” In addition to the picturesque wall tiles, film reels cover the ceilings and two authentic 1930 film projectors, courtesy of Paramount Pictures, can be seen while exiting the subway.
Hollywood / Western Station Art
5450 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90027
Untitled by May Sun, located at Hollywood/Western (B Line) Station cherishes the diverse history of Hollywood through its panels and photographs. Sun’s panels portray native Gabrielino life in the area as well as the construction of the station for the early Red Car system. Despite the Pacific Electric Railway System ending in Hollywood in the early 1940s, two Red Car replicas can be seen projecting out of the upper level, “... allowing passengers to reminisce about the past while contemplating what the future may hold.”
Vermont / Sunset Station Art
1500 North Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90027
Ecliptic/Illume by Michael Davis, located at Vermont/Sunset (B Line) Station draws inspiration from nearby iconic landmarks and medical centers including: Griffith Park Observatory, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Kaiser Permanente, and Queen of Angels/Hollywood Presbyterian. The station’s floor and walls contain traces of celestial orbits, medical symbols, and miniscule images of living beings, which tie in together the theme and concept of light, outerspace, and science.
Pacific Design Center (PDC)
8687 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood, CA 90069
The PDC is a multi-use, multi-building facility in West Hollywood dedicated to the design community. Home to over 70+ showrooms, the PDC specializes in showcasing top of the line designs in architecture, interior design, decorators, and more. It’s center building has also been dubbed as the, “Blue Whale,” due to its large size and blue glass covered exterior.
The Los Angeles LGBT Center WeHo

The Los Angeles LGBT Center in WeHo is an organization known for its many services, including sexual health education, STI/HIV testing, and mental health treatment for the LGBTQ+ community. As the world's largest LGBTQ+ nonprofit and direct service provider for queer and trans people in the world, the LGBT Center fights against injustice and strives to build a better world for all.
Plummer Park

Plummer Park is located on the eastern side of West Hollywood. This park not only provides 10 acres of park space for all to enjoy but it also serves as a space for the Russian community to celebrate cultural events. This summer, Plummer Park is holding a FREE concert series, Summer Sounds. Check it out right after CicLAvia—Meet the Hollywoods at 4pm!
Ovation Hollywood

Hollywood Bowl

With its opening debut in 1922, the Hollywood Bowl is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable outdoor venues in the United States. In fact, Rolling Stone magazine has previously named the Hollywood Bowl one of the top 10 best live music venues in the US! Although the Hollywood Bowl is a bit off route, be sure to check out their calendar, which is packed with events all summer.
Hollywood Walk of Fame

Originated in the late 1950s, the Hollywood Walk of Fame is an iconic landmark for tourists and locals alike. With 2,700+ stars, many entertainers consider placement to be a significant career achievement. Are you able to find your favorite stars? Fun Fact: Muhammad Ali is the only star to not be on the ground but on the side of a building because he, “... did not want the name of Muhammad to be stepped on."
TCL Chinese Theatre

The TCL Chinese Theatre, formerly known as the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, is a movie palace known for its unique architectural structure and longevity in Hollywood. Since its opening night in 1926, the TCL Chinese Theatre has been a hotspot for blockbuster film premieres such as Star Wars (1977), Interstellar (2014), Furious 7 (2015), and many more.
El Capitan Theatre

The El Capitan Theatre is another iconic movie palace in Hollywood known for its bright lights, unique architectural design, and venue for majority of Disney Studios’ film premiere nights. Owned by Disney, a list of box office hits such as Toy Story (1995), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Lilo & Stitch (2002), Inside Out 2 (2024), and much more have had their world debuts at this theater.
The Hollywood Museum

The Hollywood Museum is known for its historic movie props, actor actress costumes, and expansive collection of memorabilia from the film industry.
Hollywood Wax Museum

The Hollywood Wax Museum is home to life-sized replicas of celebrities and cultural icons such as Brad Pitt, Shakira, Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, and Freddie Mercury.
Capitol Records Building

You can find the Capitol Records building right above the CicLAvia—Meet the Hollywoods Route. Known as the world’s first circular office building, this record label has hosted recording sessions for many popular artists such as Katy Perry, Paul McCartney, and the Beastie Boys.
Hollywood Pantages Theatre

The Pantages Theatre is located in the heart of Hollywood. The Pantages started off as a local movie theater and vaudeville performing center in 1930 and transitioned to showing only live performances in 1977. The theater is one of LA’s leading establishments for live performances and presents large scale broadway shows such as Disney’s The Lion King and Wicked.
Amoeba Music

Amoeba Music is located on the route on the corner of Argyle Ave and Hollywood Blvd. With three locations in California, Amoeba Music is one of the world’s largest independent record stores and hosts many intimate live shows of different genres. With generous support from Lindsey P. Horvath, Los Angeles County Board Chair, Third District Supervisor, Amoeba Music has partnered with Dublab to produce a full day of music and live performances at the Walk of Fame Hub!
Barnsdall Art Park / Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hollyhock House

This park is located on the east side of the CicLAvia route atop a small hill with breathtaking views of the Hollywood sign and the city. You will find the historic Hollyhock House, designed by world famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
“Hollywood Jazz” Mural by Richard Wyatt Jr.
Capitol Records Bldg, 1750 Vine St, Hollywood, CA 90028
This mural near Hollywood and Vine shows many popular 20th century jazz musicians such as Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Charlie Parker, Chet Baker, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, and others.

Newly Installed Bike Lanes
Hollywood Blvd (Between Gower St and Hillhurst Ave)
Check out the newly installed bike lanes along Hollywood Blvd! LADOT has worked hard with Council District 13 and Council District 4 to make Hollywood Blvd more bike and pedestrian friendly as part of their Vision Zero Program. From Gower St all the way to Hillhurst Ave, you’ll find new safety features along the ~2 mile stretch. Have questions about the bike lanes and future plans nearby? LADOT will have booths at the Hollywood Blvd and East Hollywood Hubs to get your feedback!
