For the last month, we've curated and posted lists of events happening each week that are free of charge and full of fun. As we close out summer and head into fall, here is a list of free and fun happenings through the end of September, ending with CicLAvia's massive, free, and most musical event to date, Celebrate LA!: LA Phil 100 x CicLAvia.

Tonight, celebrate the legendary music of jazz saxophonist John Coltrane at Jazz @ LACMA. Trane Stories will perform a mix of “lyric, poetry, and spoken word as well as Coltrane’s music” starting tonight at 6 p.m.

Tonight at 6 p.m., award-winning vocalist Janis Mann closes out the Jazz @ LACMA series for the season. Described as "one of the most authentic and pure jazz voices working today," Janis is known for her ”spontaneity, swing and a bit of sass.”

Our big event, Celebrate LA!: LA Phil 100 x CicLAvia: In this special 8-mile CicLAvia in honor of the LA Philharmonic’s 100-year anniversary, the route will stretch from Walt Disney Concert Hall to the Hollywood Bowl, with over a thousand musicians, artists, dancers, and family activities.
