🏛️ The Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles prevents Angelenos from falling into homelessness through partnerships with community organizations providing access to eviction prevention services and support such as legal services and healthcare. Find materials about their eviction defense program, We Are LA along with St. John's Community Health clinic information.
🏛️ Mayor Karen Bass' Office will be offering information on how to access city services and passing out flyers about upcoming events. Grab some goodies and learn about volunteer opportunities.
🟢 Metro Bike Share makes it easy, fun, and affordable to get around on two wheels. At their booth, they will teach folks how bike share works, explore membership options, and take part in fun activities celebrating cycling and sustainable transportation! In addition, Metro Bike Share will provide a temporary pop-up station accepting returns until 3:30 pm on event day! All bikes are first-come, first-served and must be returned to a station when you are done riding. See more about bike rentals on our rental page.
🎨 Through storytelling, cultural programming, and community engagement, We Love Leimert helps amplify the Black art, voices, history, and community life of the heart of Black Los Angeles. Visit to learn about their projects, upcoming events, and opportunities to support the community.
🔷 Our bike repair partner Ride On! Bike Shop and Co-op will offer FREE minor bike repairs and adjustments during the event. First come, first served.

🎨 Leimert Park's Day of the Ancestors: Festival of Masks is an annual celebration of our ancestors and an invocation for the South Central LA community. This year’s theme is Nea Onnim — the African Adinkra symbol representing lifelong education and the continued quest for knowledge. The festival features a libation ceremony, a procession, and an exciting lineup of dance and musical performances starting at 1pm.
🟫 🎨 ⚽ Take a break around 12pm and watch the South Africa vs Canada soccer match in Leimert Park Village. The match will be showing at the Da Alley aka Sika Dwimfo Corridor next to Ora Café.
🟫 The Leimert Park Markets at Leimert Park Metro Station, in partnership with Leimert Park Village Inc. and Community Labs, will feature the Leimert Park Village Visitors Kiosk. They’ll have shirts and clear backpacks for sale, and all visitors coming to the village via the Metro K-Line who complete their survey will receive a clear backpack for free! The Markets at Metro will feature several micro-entrepreneurs, including Crenshaw Coffee, All Chill Ice Cream, Crenshaw Juice, and The Small Shop.
🎨 Come back to the area at 7pm to watch a mashup of LA’s most hilarious improvisers at Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center. WHO ALL GON’ BE THERE, an all-Black improv show based in Leimert Park.
🎨 Walk, bike, skate, roll, or run along Crenshaw Blvd via a Slow Street Connection to see the Destination Crenshaw murals, which include the Crenshaw wall restoration and 3-D sculpture artwork in Sankofa Park. 🎨 Piece by Piece empowers individuals who have experienced homelessness or economic insecurity through free mosaic art workshops. These workshops help participants build confidence, earn supplemental income, and enhance their overall well-being and quality of life. Add your own tile to their community mosaic.
🎨 ⚽ Join St. Elmo Village and LA-based artist Terrick Gutierrez for a centering art workshop. You’ll practice using found objects and other materials to tell a story, reinterpreted through your reflections, interests, and memories, as well as learn more about art history as it relates to Los Angeles. 🎨 Check out the immersive art experience that is the LA Metro Art Bus. "We Are..." is an immersive experience that goes from street to seat with 16 large-scale portraits of Metro riders on the exterior of the bus and 41 art cards lining the interior of the bus. 🎨 BiciCrófono is a human-powered karaoke experience bringing the goodness and revolution of bicycles to communities across Los Angeles. Their mobile bicycle stage is towed by a tandem bicycle, fueled by tacos, propelled by love for our city, and heals the soul one karaoke song at a time. This activity is made possible in part by a grant from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
