Visit SAJE's booth to learn more about tenant rights! They will also be sharing Information on how to get involved in Equitable Development in your Community.
Visit the Communities Actively Living Independent & Free booth to build more knowledge around COVID-19 facts! They will have a Spin the Wheel game where participants can spin to test their knowledge. Once someone answers the questions, they will hand out prizes like bags, posters, PPE like COVID-19 testing kits, and masks.
The Labor Community Strategy Center is carrying out a campaign for Urban Reconstruction through our Bus Riders Union that includes demands for Free Public Transportation, No Cars in LA, and ending all Anti-Black policies on Metro Buses and Trains. They run the Strategy and Soul Community Center which will be one of the hubs for the upcoming Carb-Step E-Bike lending library (South Central Power Up). They hope to offer information about campaigns, membership for the Bus Riders Union, and information about the E-Bike lending library and strategy and Soul, as well as branded merch--BRU shirts, Strategy and Soul Shirts, buttons, face masks, etc.
The Los Angeles South Chamber of Commerce is a non profit organization on a mission to develop and sustain economic growth in South L.A.'s underserved & marginalized communities through small business development, entrepreneurship, advocacy, community engagement, financial literacy, health & wellness education. LA28 The Olympic and Paralympic Games are coming to Los Angeles in the summer of 2028 and will be a terrific opportunity to celebrate the diversity of our community. 15,000 athletes from across the U.S. and around the world will descend upon Los Angeles in the summer of 2028 to compete on the biggest stage in sports. Los Angeles has successfully hosted the Olympic Games twice before in 1984 and 1932 and 2028 will mark the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games – an elite competition for athletes with disabilities. The LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games are here to support the South LA community, recognizing it’s the diversity and creativity of Los Angeles that makes our community so special. And are excited to have several all-star Olympians and Paralympians celebrate with LA28.

ACLU of Southern California, in partnership with ACT-LA, will be sharing information on how bicyclists and transit riders can advocate to create just, equitable, and sustainable transportation systems. They will also be distributing Know-Your-Rights fliers for bicyclists to let them know their legal rights during a bike stop.
Stop by the L.A. Care booth to learn about the services they offer. L.A. Care’s mission is to provide access to quality health care for Los Angeles County's vulnerable and low-income communities and residents and to support the safety net required to achieve that purpose. They will be handing out backpacks with items (while supplies last) and information on our health services.

White Hall Arts Academy will be providing information and demonstrations about White Hall Arts Academy arts education programming including summer camps! Visit their booth to register for their upcoming Rock The Block event on Sunday July 30, 2023.
Las Fotos Project, a community-based non-profit that provides photography classes to gender-expansive youth, will provide a photobooth for CicLAvia guests where they will be photographed by their CEO photographers who are learning while on the job with the support of their mentors. Photos will be taken with a bold gold backdrop! Those who donate will win LFP merch.

Want to learn about the City of Los Angeles Empowerment Congress Central Neighborhood Council? Visit their booth for more information about the Neighborhood Council and the role they play as the local City Government! They will distribute Neighborhood Council branded outreach items.
Swing by the LA Commons, Cultural Treasures of South LA booth to have a polaroid picture taken of you in front of your favorite South LA Promise Zone map! They will also have a cool down area where visitors can sit down and chat about what they love about South Los Angeles, and if they would like, they can share a video testimony sharing their Cultural Treasures.

LA City's Reparation Advisory Commission (RAC) will share information regarding its public engagement activities (i.e. survey).
Los Angeles Clean Cities Coalition brings information to the public on alternatives to typical gasoline automobiles. This includes materials such as current electric vehicle rebates and incentives and charging stations in the community.
Bureau of Street Services (StreetsLA) will present information about their Bureau and will share more info about their streetscape projects in the South LA area.
Visit the City of Los Angeles, Community Investment for Families Department (CIFD) for more information about bicycle safety! They will be handing out FREE Youth Bicycle helmets, wheel reflectors, and other safety gadgets (while supplies last). They are a part of the City of LA's Office of Traffic Safety program (OTS).

LA County Department of Regional Planning will be celebrating the Department's 100-year Anniversary and will be handing out pens, magnets, cotton tote bags and flyers with information. Staff will be there to provide information of services provided in unincorporated communities and share new community plans that are in draft form and require public input.
STEP Partners: The Sustainable Transportation Equity Project (STEP) is a California Air Resources Board (CARB) California Climate Investments (CCI) grant program. The CARB STEP program has the mission to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase access to clean transportation, and address community transportation needs in climate-burdened neighborhoods.
- The Los Angeles Department of Transportation Universal Basic Mobility Pilot (UBM) uses $13.8M in grant funding from the State of California’s Air Resources Board (CARB) to improve mobility for residents of South LA, with an additional $4M in funding provided by the City of Los Angeles. LADOT’s UBM pilot introduces new and expanded shared mobility options for residents and workers, offers transportation subsidies, creates zero emission delivery services, installs safety improvements, provides job training in the green economy, and expands electrification.
- Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) alongside the Community Management Partners: Community Services Unlimited, Esperanza Community Housing Development, Labor/Community Strategy Center, People for Mobility Justice (Lead), Ride Wit Us, SCOPE LA, and T.R.U.S.T. South LA will table and hope to have a model of an e-bike to promote the CARB STEP South LA E-Bike Lending Library coming soon!
- LADOT Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), in partnership with Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), is planning to increase pedestrian and bicycle safety, mobility and connectivity on parts of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd (MLK), Avalon Blvd (Avalon), and Gage Ave (Gage) in Los Angeles.
- Blue LA - CicLAvia participants will be able to see an electric vehicle from the BlueLA Car Share Program, LA's electric car sharing program.
BikeLA (formerly the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition) is spreading the word about and getting feedback on the Los Angeles County Bicycle Master Plan, which will serve as the roadmap for Los Angeles County Public Works to make Los Angeles more bike-friendly for everyone. The LA County Bicycle Master Plan was last updated in 2012, so they are helping Public Works gather updated community feedback by asking LA County residents to complete this survey and provide input on which streets need improved bike infrastructure.
Strategic Concepts for Organizing and Political Education (SCOPE) will be sharing information about how South LA residents can get involved in the fight to combat climate change and bring economic justice to their communities. They will also be raffling off small prizes and giveaways!

Juneteenth Festival Hub

Los Angeles County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell's 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration & Resource Fair is a free community event that uplifts the impact of Juneteenth and creates a space for redefining what freedom means today. This joyous event includes live performances, food trucks, activities, and access to community and county services. On-site record expungement, mental health services, support with tenant protection and more, will be available. All are welcome to attend.
