To support the event, Metro Bike Share will also have temporary pop-up stations at the Arts District and Venice Beach Hub that will operate from 9am – 3pm. All bikes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be returned to the Metro Bike Share team at the Historic South Central Hub before the end of the event or to any station with an open dock when you are finished riding. Please note: At 2:30 pm, the virtual checkout option will close; check-ins will remain open. Metro Bike Share will staff the booth up on the sidewalk until 3:30 pm to check in the overflow bikes.

Bike Rentals

CicLAvia has partnered with Unlimited Biking to provide on-site bike rentals on 8/17 with pickup and drop-off at the Mar Vista Hub! Click here to reserve a bike in advance. A limited number of bikes will be available to rent at the event on a first-come, first-served basis. Helmet rental is complementary, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to CicLAvia.

Please remember, bikes are not required to participate in CicLAvia! You can walk, run, skate, scoot, or take a pedicab. Anything that is people-powered is allowed. If you decide to rent, be sure to call ahead and pay for your reservation in advance, as rentals have been known to sell out on CicLAvia Sundays.

Plan ahead and visit ciclavia.org/rentals for more information about other bike rentals in Los Angeles County.
