Event Times
CicLAvia's event hours are 9:00am–4:00pm on Sunday, March 6th, 2016. On the 4 mile route, streets will be closed to all cars. Streets will be fully closed to cars no later than 8:00am and no vehicles or on-street parking will be allowed on the route until streets are re-opened to cars at approximately 5:30pm.
Streets Closed to Cars
Van Nuys Blvd will be closed to all cars from San Fernando Road to Roscoe Blvd by 8:00am on Sunday, March 6, 2016. CicLAvia's event hours are 9:00am-4:00pm. Van Nuys Blvd will be re-opened to cars by approximately 5:30pm. Expect medium-to-long delays on nearby streets if you must drive or travel by bus that day.
Crossing the Route
Cars can cross the CicLAvia route at various major intersections (see map). Los Angeles Police, Los Angeles Department of Transportation officers and CicLAvia volunteers are stationed at the car-crossing points to assist with the flow of participant and vehicle traffic.
Parking Restrictions
Cars parked on the route on CicLAvia day (Sunday, March 6) will be towed starting at 1:00am, and no cars will be allowed to enter or exit the route during event hours (9:00am-4:00pm).
Check for posted parking restrictions on your street before the event. Additional street parking near the route may be restricted.
If you have to pay for parking due to CicLAvia's parking restrictions, we will reimburse you up to $20 for parking fees. Please just mail us the receipt and proof of residence.
