On Sunday, July 19 the following streets will be closed to car traffic. No parking will be allowed on these streets beginning at 1am on Sunday, July 19. There are crossing points at several intersections where vehicles can cross along the route.
The streets on the CicLAvia route will be closed to car traffic from 7am* to approximately 6pm on Sunday, July 19. No vehicles are allowed on the route during this time.
The following streets will be closed to cars during this time:
- Santa Monica Blvd from San Vicente Blvd to Highland Ave
- Highland Ave from Santa Monica Blvd to Hollywood Blvd
- Hollywood Blvd from N Orange Blvd to Virgil/Hillhurst Ave
The event runs from 9am to 4pm, and streets will be fully open to cars by approximately 6pm.
*Some street closures may begin between 4am and 6am.

Driveway Access
All driveways on the route will be blocked and inaccessible from 7am* to approximately 6pm on Sunday, July 19. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter or exit the route during this time. If your only driveway will be blocked and you need to use your vehicle on Sunday, July 19, you must park elsewhere before 7am* that day or you will be blocked in until approximately 6pm.
Parking Restrictions
No parking will be allowed on Santa Monica Blvd from San Vicente Blvd to La Brea Ave from 4am to 6pm on Sunday, July 19.
No parking will be allowed on the remainder of the CicLAvia route from 1am to 6pm on Sunday, July 19.
Parking restrictions will be posted, and towing will be enforced.
Additional street parking near the route may be restricted. Please check posted parking restrictions in your neighborhood.
Delivery drivers will not be permitted to drive or park on the route during street closure hours. Please direct drivers to pull up or park on an adjacent side street.
Parking reimbursement
If you live or work directly on the route, CicLAvia can reimburse you up to $20 per vehicle for any parking costs you incur from 8pm on Saturday, July 18 through 6pm on Sunday, July 19. For reimbursement, email a copy of your parking receipt and proof of residence or employment to [email protected], SUBJECT: Parking Reimbursement.
Bus Detours
All buses that usually run along the CicLAvia route will be detoured. Please check back here and at your local bus stops for detour information closer to the event date.
In addition, be sure to check your bus stop on Sunday, July 19 for posted signs outlining specific detours for your stop.
Freeway Off Ramp Closures
- 101 n/b exit 8a Sunset Blvd, left turn lane closure, right turn open
- 101 n/b and s/b, full closure of Hollywood Blvd exits (8B)
- 101 n/b exit for Gower St (8c) left turn lane closure
- 101 s/b exit for Gower St (8c) left turn lane closure
- 101 s/b exit for Highland Ave (9c) full closure
- 101 n/b exit for Highland Ave (9b) right turn lane closure
