Activities abound along the CicLAvia—Meet the Hollywoods route! You can also check out shops, eateries, local gems, and activities along the route using our interactive digital map!

  • Free pedicabs – the pedicabs stop at each Hub's Info Booth, so just look for the sign! First come first served.

West Hollywood Hub

West Hollywood Advocates for Metro Rail (WHAM) is a group of local transit advocates supporting the Metro K Line Northern Extension and new rail stations in WeHo, Mid City, and Hollywood. They will be sharing information about the K Line North, and visitors can sign up for updates and receive a branded giveaway.

We’ll be joined by Supervisor Lindsey Horvath (LA County Third District) and her team! Their booth will have Information about Supervisor Horvath’s office and various county departments and resources.

The West Hollywood Bicycle Coalition (WeHoBYCO) will be offering swag (while supplies last) and providing information about bicycle safety and advocacy in West Hollywood and county-wide through BikeLA. Additionally, there will be outreach for Metro’s "Mobility Wallet" pilot program.

The Metro Bike Share staff is excited to meet you and share more information about the bike share program! They’ll have cool swag available and the opportunity to share your thoughts and experiences using Metro Bike Share through their community survey. Metro Bikes will be available to check out on a first-come, first-served basis at our temporary station at the West Hollywood Hub from 9am-2:30pm. Metro Bike Share staff will be available for assistance and bike returns from 9am-4pm. Please note that this station will be removed at the end of the event. If you wish to return your bike after 4pm, please find an open dock at a station nearby (most stations are located in the middle and east end of the route). Download the Metro Bike Share app to purchase a pass ahead of time and view locations of other bike share stations near the route. Don’t forget to follow @bikemetro on social media, and always remember to return your Metro Bike to a station when you are done riding.     

LA Waterkeeper will be showcasing their water conservation program and educating folks on how they can save water in their everyday life. They will also be doing live demonstrations of their shower bucket challenge and have water conservation items to distribute! 

The Office of Assemblymember Rick Chavez Zbur will provide legislative updates and information about various state resources available to constituents.

SELA Bicycle Center will be providing FREE basic bike repair services!

The LA County Department of Public Social Services, Toy Loan and Volunteer Services Section will be giving away small items to children in attendance (while supplies last). They will also be promoting their Toy Loan Program, which loans out toys to children throughout LA County.

Plummer Park Hub

Stick around West Hollywood at the close of CicLAvia–Meet the Hollywoods for Summer Sounds, a FREE world music concert starting at 4 p.m. at Plummer Park, featuring The Neighborhood Orchestra and DJ Aaron Parr. The City of West Hollywood Administrative Services and City Clerk's Office will be conducting voter outreach. Visit their booth for more information!

The City of West Hollywood's Long Range Planning Division staff will be sharing information about the City's bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, mobility projects, and how to sign up for updates. Participants are encouraged to stop by and learn about city projects from upcoming protected bike lanes and neighborhood greenways, to Vision Zero and new mobility options. A variety of giveaways will be available!

The City of West Hollywood's Recreation Services Division will highlight and promote all of the amazing aquatic and recreation programs the Division has to offer, just in time for Fall registration. Stop by for more info and giveaways.

The Mid City West Neighborhood Council will be hosting a Friendship Bracelet Craft Project. Visit their booth for some arts and crafts!

Join Craft Contemporary to create your own colorful marbled paper! Come experiment with this amazing art form where you float ink on water and swirl it around to make unique and mesmerizing patterns. The spontaneous nature of working with water during this activity lets you release any expectations and enjoy a moment of creativity and material exploration!

Drag Story Hour is a series of story time readings by drag performers for children of all ages presented by Drag Arts Lab! Take a break in the shade and listen to stories at 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm. Drag Arts Lab’s mission is to elevate and expand the art of drag throughout LA County.

Walk of Fame Hub

Council District 13 will be sharing information on city services, and their Access to Hollywood Program.

Pocari Sweat, a Japanese sports drink brand, will be sampling Pocari Sweat and having a Jenga game for participants to play for prizes! Swing by their booth to try their tasty drinks. 

Join the LA Philharmonic for an exciting array of activities and giveaways, including Hollywood Bowl and Ford Theatre information, Walt Disney Concert Hall 2024/2025 booklets, temporary tattoos, Hollywood Bowl fans, stickers, and photo opportunities with the Bowlie backdrop.  

The Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council will be giving away swag and information packets (while supplies last).

Want some free swag? Visit the Los Angeles Department of Neighborhood Empowerment! They will be joining CicLAvia to share more information about Neighborhood councils and will be distributing FREE LA City swag (while supplies last).

The LA City Clerk will be on hand to register attendees to vote and share ways for everyone to be more civically engaged, regardless of age or citizenship status.

Near the Walk of Fame Hub:

Check out the Hollywood Farmers’ Market at Hollywood and Ivar (open 8am-1pm). Grab lunch from a variety of prepared food vendors and stock up on delicious produce. Free bike valet available provided by Pedal Movement so that you can step away from your bike without worrying while you shop and eat. And if you make a purchase at the market, stop by the Market’s info booth at Selma/Ivar for a FREE limited edition CicLAvia button (while supplies last).

Catch Snap Yourself!, the mobile photo booth, strolling along Hollywood Blvd between the Walk of Fame and Hollywood Blvd Hub and be sure to take a photo to remember your day!

 

Hollywood Blvd Hub

The Hollywood Studio District Neighborhood Council will be providing information on how residents can become more involved in the neighborhood. They will share details about meetings, and will also gather feedback from the community on important issues and ways the council can address their concerns.

StreetsLA will provide information on their services and share details about the new Hollywood Blvd bike lane project, for which they handled the asphalt prep work.

Visit the LADOT booth to offer feedback and celebrate the new safety upgrades recently completed by The City of Los Angeles along Hollywood Blvd from Gower St to Hillhurst Ave. While there, pick up a Scavenger Hunt Passport and experience the improvements firsthand. Complete the Scavenger Hunt along the corridor and redeem your Passport back at the LADOT booth for a free limited edition button!

The Community Investment for Families Dept. (CIFD), will be providing FREE youth bicycle helmets for youth ages 5-17 years old (youth must be present, while supplies last). They will also have complimentary bike wheel reflectors, small safety items, and bicycle/pedestrian safety reading material.

The Hollywood Food Coalition’s Wellness Program will be offering handouts and swag (while supplies last)! Their booth will feature information about their various programs, trivia-style interactive questions, literature on food rescue initiatives, and details on how to get involved. Visit their booth for more information!

Bici Libre will be offering FREE bike repair at the event. They are a non-profit bike shop where tools, parts and used bicycles are available for free or at very low cost. Volunteer opportunities are available for any skill level, and Bici Libre aims to offer paid positions for skilled educators. Bici Libre is a Spanish/English bi-lingual repair and educational project.  

My Friend's Place will have art created by young people experiencing homelessness on display. Visitors are invited to stop by, view the artwork, and discuss ways to support young people in our community.

Streets Are For Everyone will be sharing information on their mission, street safety, and the upcoming Finish The Ride/Run event in Santa Clarita. Those who stop by their booth will have a chance to win free items.

Corita Art Center will present an activity inspired by the artist, educator, and social justice advocate Corita Kent (1918-1986). Participants will learn about the artist, known to many as “the joyous revolutionary,” as they create multicolored paper flowers to decorate their bicycles with.

Event participants can enjoy samples of GT's Living Foods' refreshing summer Synergy flavors. Additionally, they'll be introducing the new ADK Peach Piña hydration beverage. Give them a try!

Drop by the CicLAvia Play Zone for relaxation and fun! You'll find an assortment of classic board games and giant interactive games. Plus, test your skills with a round of Bean Bag toss!

The L.A. Zoo booth will have different touchable objects related to a variety of animals and the field of conservation. Engage in trivia games and win exciting prizes! Their educational outreach staff will be on hand to connect guests of all ages with nature and the world around us. They aim to show the community that the L.A. Zoo is a space for everyone. Learn more on how they work towards their missions of saving wildlife, fostering connections to nature, and enriching our communities.

The Solar Powered DJ station will be demonstrating the use of renewable energy to play music non stop providing a fun and lively vibe from 10AM to 4PM!

East Hollywood Hub

The Los Feliz Neighborhood Council will be conducting general outreach, educating the community about the various initiatives and activities of their committees. They will also be distributing free swag to attendees (while supplies last)!

BikeLA has a new chapter: Bike Central LA, serving the communities of Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park, and beyond—from DTLA to Beachwood Canyon. Join them to learn about the Hollywood Blvd. ProjectSunset4All, and other transformative initiatives that are shaping our streets!

Visit Council District 4’s booth to learn more about the work in their district, and other resources for residents in the area.

The Los Angeles Ecovillage Institute, a project of CRSP, will provide information about the LA Ecovillage and offer guidance on starting ecovillages in your neighborhood. They will also be offering free tours and giving away flashlights/pens to those who sign up for their special events notification list.

The East Hollywood Neighborhood Council (EHNC) will be offering FREE EHNC merchandise (while supplies last)! This will include water tumblers, stickers, safety vests, and much more!

Bicycle Kitchen will be offering FREE basic bike repair to CicLAvia participants.

Visit the office of City Controller of Los Angeles, Kenneth Mejia, to learn more about their upcoming projects, goals and the city’s budget! 

Join LADOT to learn more about plans to extend the Hollywood Safety and Mobility project from Hillhurst Ave to Fountain Ave along Sunset Blvd. This will connect existing bike lanes on Sunset Blvd to the new protected bike lanes on Hollywood Blvd. Don't miss this opportunity to share your feedback!

The City of Los Angeles recently completed safety upgrades along Hollywood Blvd from Gower St to Hillhurst Ave by reallocating road space along the corridor and adding a protected bike lane. Explore the new safety improvements by participating in a scavenger hunt along the corridor! Visit the LADOT booth to learn more about the improvements, share your feedback, and grab a scavenger hunt passport which you can complete and redeem for a free limited edition button.

CicLAvia has partnered with Unlimited Biking to provide on site bike rentals on 8/18 with pick up and drop off at the East Hollywood Hub! Check here to reserve a bike in advance for 2-hour, 4-hour, or entire day time slots. A limited number of bikes will be available to rent at the event on a first come, first served basis. Helmet rental is complementary.

Hop on board the Metro Art Bus at CicLAvia and take your selfies with the mobile We Are… portrait exhibition, learn how to load a bike onto a Metro bus bike rack, and grab some free Metro Art goodies while you cruise around. Celebrating the diversity of Los Angeles County, the Metro Art Bus features portraits of Metro transit riders. Each portrait is a story that is personal and universal, intimate and immediate—a single story among the many stories of 840,000 daily riders on Metro, and each told by an artist with ties to neighborhoods served by Metro.

Students Run LA will be sharing information on how you can support their incredible program through donations or volunteering! Sign up for their e-newsletter, follow them on social media, and don’t miss out on exciting giveaways they’ll have during the event!

The Alliance for Community Transit, in partnership with the Koreatown Immigrant Workers Alliance, will be sharing more information about their “Metro as Sanctuary Campaign” along the “Vermont Bus Lane Corridor”. They will be distributing flyers and hosting a spin wheel with prizes to raise awareness about the ongoing bike, bus lane, and pedestrian improvements in the neighborhood.

Streets For All is a transportation and mobility non-profit focused on making our streets safer for everyone! Stop by to learn more, join their Member's Club, and talk transit!

Evolution Fresh just launched their Real Fruit Soda, and will be handing out free samples of all five flavors! Visit their food truck to relax in their lounge chairs, snag coupons and stickers, and play cornhole.

The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) Transit Team will be assisting and educating the community on public transportation needs. They will be available to help seniors and students apply for TAP cards and enroll in the low-income program, which provides free rides on public transportation.

LA Clean Cities Coalition will have information available to inform the public about alternatives to gasoline combustion vehicles. They will also respond to questions about related efforts like current EV incentives and rebates and general questions from the public.

The City of LA Department of Cannabis Regulation booth will engage guests in a fun and interactive public information campaign centered on the health, safety and risks of cannabis products (must be 21+). No cannabis products will be sold, distributed, or displayed. They will have games, prizes and premium giveaways.

Bienestar will be offering free HIV testing for the community! They will also provide information about the Hate Violence Prevention Partnership (HVPP), which includes Bienestar, Brotherhood Crusade, and the Muslim Public Affairs Council. This partnership focuses on educating the community about their rights if they have been victims of hate crimes and assisting them in reporting such incidents.
