Activities abound along the CicLAvia—Heart of LA route! You can also check out shops, eateries, local gems, and activities along the route using our interactive digital map!

Hubs

All Hubs will have:

  • Free water stations and restrooms
  • First Aid stations
  • Bike parking
  • Free pedicabs – provided by AARP, the pedicabs stop at each Hub's Info Booth, so just look for the sign! First come first served.
  • Free bike repair (more info below)


Pit Stop will have: all of the above with the exception of bike parking

South Park Hub

The L.A. South Chamber of Commerce booth will be providing resources for small businesses, and community residents. Visit their booth for more information!

AltaMed will have a photo booth for community members to make a long lasting memory of CicLAvia. Additionally, they will be providing Medi-Cal Renewal information to help the community understand the process. Visit here for more information and how-to videos about Medi-Cal renewals and community events where AltaMed will host popups for one-on-one renewal assistance.

GU Energy Labs will be hosting a community ride with the Bahati Foundation Student Cycling Club at CicLAvia—Heart of LA. The ride will kick off promptly from the GU Energy Labs booth at the South Park Hub at 9:00am. Join these young riders on a casually paced ride to the Chinatown Hub. CicLAvia participants can also sample GU Energy Lab products all day by stopping by their booth at the South Park Hub (while supplies last).

The Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council (DLANC) team will have information about the Neighborhood Council. Stop by their booth to chat with them about neighborhood events, activities, services, and information on how to get involved in local government!

Communities Actively Living Independent & Free (CALIF) will be giving out PPE and COVID-19 testing kits. They will also have a Spin-the-Wheel game that tests your knowledge of COVID-19 information to win swag, including bags, magnets, coloring books, and posters (while supplies last).

Enjoy a bite from a local food truck and take a break in the seating area sponsored by Brompton.

Join Las Fotos Project for a drop-in photo collaging workshop! Las Fotos Project photographers will create a polaroid portrait of you that you will then use as a centerpiece for a mixed media collage that explores all the amazing things that make you unique. 

The Motional team will be handing out treats, water, and swag (while supplies last). Visit their booth for a chance to speak to their representatives about their technology and partnerships!

Bici Libre will be offering FREE bike repair for minor repairs at CicLAvia (while supplies last)! Bici Libre is a non-profit bike shop where tools, parts and used bicycles are available for purchase at very low cost. Volunteer opportunities are available for any skill level. Bici Libre can offer work trade for those who can not afford stand time, bike parts or a bike.

LA Clean Cities Coalition will have information available to inform the public about alternatives to gasoline combustion vehicles. They will also respond to questions about related efforts like current EV incentives and rebates and general questions from the public.

Are you or someone you know a Veteran? Visit the Department of Veterans Affairs booth at CicLAvia to learn more about VA benefits such as; healthcare, burial and streamline navigating VA healthcare system. 

StreetsLA will present information on important Bureau services and resources, and will be seeking community feedback on their NEW bus shelter program, Sidewalk and Transit Amenities Program (STAP).

 

 

Chinatown Hub

Streets Are For Everyone will be promoting their Finish The Ride/Run Halloween event. Visit their booth for a chance to spin their prize wheel, too!

Stop by and say hi to your neighborhood council representatives at the Historic Cultural North Neighborhood Council (HCNNC) booth! They will have snacks, swag, and info about HCNNC (while supplies last).

The City of LA’s Community Investment for Family's Department (CIFD) will be providing FREE bike helmets and wheel reflectors to youth at CicLAvia (while supplies last)! Visit their booth for more information regarding Bicycle & Pedestrian safety.  

Calling all animal lovers! The Los Angeles Zoo will be sharing information about Halloween themed animals. Visit their booth to interact with and learn more about different types of animals.

Stop by Piece by Piece's booth and help create a beautiful community mosaic piece of art. Piece by Piece is a non-profit in Los Angeles providing free mosaic workshops to the community! 

Did you know that the DASH community bus service is free?! Visit the LADOT Transit booth to learn more about public transit information and get assistance with signing up for reduced senior or student TAP cards

LADOT will be sharing information about local mobility projects and department wide initiatives such as their Bilingual Glossary of Transportation Terms, transit services, and service requests accessible via 311.

Empowerment Los Angeles will be offering free merchandise with the city logo on it (while supplies last)! They will also be sharing information on how to get involved with your local neighborhood council.

Stop by the KPFK 90.7 FM Radio booth and enter a raffle for a chance to win some goodies!

Come play a game with LA Recreation and Parks! They will be bringing their mobile van with fun activities and games. They will also be showcasing the PlayLA Youth and Adaptive Sports Program, so be sure to visit them for more information. 

Enjoy bites from one of the many local restaurants, challenge your friends to a match of ping pong, and enjoy other games, live music and activities throughout Chinatown, presented by the Chinatown Business Improvement District.

Bike Oven will be providing FREE basic bike repair at CicLAvia! Visit them to get your bike back on the street!

Interested in composting? The Council District 1 team will have a booth at the Chinatown Hub and will be giving away green composting bins! They will also be handing out customized spoke cards (while supplies last) and sharing City resources, too. 

 

Little Tokyo Hub

Are you interested in a library card? Visit the Los Angeles Public Library booth to sign-up for one. They will also be providing library resource information, swag/book giveaways (while supplies last) and will be facilitating the “Froggy Rides a Bike Storywalk”! 

Gloria Molina Grand Park (GMGP) is an urban oasis nestled in the Civic Center of Downtown Los Angeles where they produce free family-friendly events year round for Angelenos to come together and celebrate. Visit their booth to learn about their upcoming programs and get some free GMGP swag! 

Visit the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory at the Little Tokyo hub! Snap out-of-this-world selfies, sign up to send your name to Jupiter's moon Europa, see a live telescope view of the Sun, and pick up free cosmic swag.

AVA Arts District is a brand new community living space that will be offering up to 8 weeks rent free and in-person guided tours of the apartment complex. Drop by their booth for more information!

Visit the Skanska booth and play a game of cornhole! They will also be giving away free small swag items like flags and tattoos (while supplies last).

L.A. Care Health Plan will be giving away free resource bags and promotional items to CicLAvia participants (while supplies last)! They will also be sharing information about the health services they offer.

The Metro Bike Share staff is excited to meet you and share more information about the bike share program! Get a souvenir photo taken in front of their backdrop, grab some cool swag and share your thoughts and experiences with Metro Bike Share through their community survey. Metro Bikes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at nearby stations along the route. Plan ahead and download the Metro Bike Share app to purchase a pass. Don’t forget to tag @bikemetro on social media, and always remember to return your Metro Bike to a station. 

Visit the Little Tokyo Table Tennis booth and play a game of ping pong! They will also have more information about Little Tokyo's community ping pong club from Terasaki Budokan.

Join Self Help Graphics & Art’s Marigolds workshop! Marigolds, also known as cempasúchitl and flor de muerto (flower of the dead) are one of the most recognizable icons of Dia de los Muertos. In this workshop, learn how to create your own traditional paper marigolds used to decorate altars, homes, and more.

Stop by the LA Phil booth to view their upcoming season at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the last few shows at The Ford! 

Bicycle Kitchen/La Bici-Cocina will be offering free bike repair for minor repairs at CicLAvia! Their mission is to promote bicycles as a fun, safe, and accessible form of transportation, to foster healthy urban communities, and to provide a welcoming space to learn about building, maintaining, and riding bicycles.

Come by and check out the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power’s (LADWP) Charge Up L.A. booth, learn about the rebate programs, and see a new Mustang Mach-E EV. LADWP is committed to creating thousands of public, workplace, and fleet charging stations creating EV communities across Los Angeles.

Near the Little Tokyo Hub:

Grab a snack, a gift and/or fresh produce at the Historic Core Farmers Market on 5th St between Main St and Broadway (open until 3pm). Make a purchase at the market and stop by one of their two information booths (Spring/5th and Harlem Pl/5th) and get a FREE limited edition CicLAvia button (while supplies last).

Mariachi Plaza Hub

The Health Net team will have a booth at CicLAvia to meet and educate members of the community about the importance of Medi-Cal redetermination and retaining health coverage. Visit their booth for more information!

The Boyle Heights Neighborhood Council will have a Spin-the-Wheel game, visit them for your chance to win some goodies and to learn more about their council!

The Metro Bike Share staff is excited to meet you and share more information about the bike share program! They will have cool swag available and the opportunity to share your thoughts and experiences with Metro Bike Share through their community survey. Metro Bikes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at nearby stations along the route. Plan ahead and download the Metro Bike Share app to purchase a pass. Don’t forget to tag @bikemetro on social media, and always remember to return your Metro Bike to a station.

LA Civil Rights will be promoting the LA for All Campaign, a creative-led campaign to stand against hate and encourage our city to speak up and speak out against hate crimes and hate incidents. The campaign meets at the intersection of art, advocacy, and community - and stands up for an inclusive LA.

Are you registered to vote yet? If not, the LA City Clerk's Office will provide assistance with voter registration and election information. Visit their booth for more information! 

Visit Assemblymember Miguel Santiago’s booth for more information about state government resources! They will be providing casework assistance and will be giving away various goodies (while supplies last). 

Hollydale Bicycling Club will be offering free bike repair for minor repairs at CicLAvia!

Near the Mariachi Plaza Hub:

Get a taste of the collaboration that happens between the businesses on First St and local vendors who set up for Caminarte, a monthly art walk! Take a break on the route and stop by the cooling station in front of Distrito Catorce where you can catch some good vibes, a DJ, and refreshing drinks. Choose your bite to eat at any of the participating restaurants along First Street between Vicente Fernandez St and State St, with ample outside seating through the block. Don’t forget to check out the vendors who will be set up on Vicente Fernandez St right next to Mariachi Plaza! See you there!
