The following activities will take place along the CicLAvia - Pasadena route, starting at the western portion of the route. Please note that all hubs will offer CicLAvia information and merchandise, bike parking and bike repair, free water, restrooms and first aid stations. MEMORIAL PARK HUB

Food Trucks/Free Bike Valet

Armory Center for the Arts hosts an all ages mixed media art project.

Levitt Pavilion hosts yoga and music in the historic bandshell:

10:00-10:45am: Yoga on the Lawn with Christel Joy

11:00-12:00pm: Special DJ set by D'Cipher 

12:15-1:15pm: Soul Scratch

1:30-2:30pm: Off to Farofa

2:45-4:00pm: Beat Mosaic

Participate in USC Pacific Asia Museum’s Lunar New Year activity.

NEAR THE HUB

Buy fresh and buy local at the Old Pasadena Farmer’s Market from 9am-2pm on Holly at Fair Oaks Ave.

Armory Center for the Arts (45 N Raymond Ave) opens their doors to show three free art exhibits, music, and a hands-on art activity.

Participants can visit the USC Pacific Asia Museum (46 N Los Robles Ave) for an exploration of bike culture in Asia with art activities and special screening of Man Zou: Beijing to Shanghai. Enjoy a 2 for 1 admission special for all CicLAvia participants.

Old Pasadena Hub

Create arts and crafts inspired ornaments at the Side Street Projects and Gamble House wooden wearables workshop.

Art Center College of Design showcases work from Product Design and Transportation Design students. “Design a bike” workshop with faculty member Daisuke Yamaguchi using paper and pre-made wheels.

Learn about Old Pasadena landmarks with Pasadena Heritage’s coloring pages or create a building with legos and building blocks.

Children can improve their riding skills and knowledge at the kids bike safety rodeo.

The Pasadena Department of Transportation distributes 300 free bike helmets for adults and children who have bicycles with them.

Day One hosts a variety of creative activities: build a 3D bike sculpture out of mixed media, recycled cardboard, tires, create chalkboard art, take a photo at the CicLAvia Selfie Photobooth, and get moving with zumba (11am and 1pm) and yoga (11:30am and 1:30pm) classes.

Beyond Colorado at the former Cliff’s Books (630 E Colorado Blvd) gives away maps of Pasadena and hosts a typewriting station.

Zona Rosa Caffe (15 S. El Molino Ave.) hosts live music from 11am-2pm

Capture the CicLAvia experience at The Pasadena Playhouse and Playhouse District Association's complimentary photo booth at 39 S El Molino Ave.

Snap a photo at the Laemmle Playhouse 7’s (673 E Colorado Blvd) green screen photo booth and the image will be placed into scenes from iconic films like Breaking Away, Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, Easy Rider and more.

“What does the Arroyo Seco look like in your dreams?” Share a vision for a restored Arroyo Seco at the Arroyo Seco Foundation’s watershed station.

Add your words and images on "why art matters" to the Pasadena Educational Foundation’s temporary mural and pick up a map to explore the city’s public art.

Create a stop-motion video in Cirque du Soleil’s #Kurios Zone and learn more about its newest touring show, KURIOS - Cabinet of Curiosities™.

Learn dance moves from MUSE/IQUE’s hip-hop version of “Mambo” from West Side Story. Enjoy impromptu hip-hop and breakdancing performances by MUSE/IQUE artists Frit and Frat Fuller at Holliston Avenue from 10:30am-3pm.
