Are group volunteer opportunities available?

CicLAvia invites community groups of four or more to volunteer through our Adopt-an-Intersection program!
Volunteer groups will be assigned a specific intersection to guide participant traffic at vehicle and pedestrian crossing points as well as dismount and slow zones. Qualified groups are given the opportunity to set up their own table or tent along the route, and engage with the public by playing music, making customized signs, or hosting an interactive activity.
Adopt-An-Intersection group criteria:
- Groups must represent a community organization (non-profit, school, club, sports league, church, etc.)
- Volunteers must be 14 years or older
- Activities hosted by the group, including materials to distribute, must be approved by CicLAvia
- Groups must volunteer for the duration of the event (from 8:30am to 4:00pm) with a minimum of four volunteers per shift
