There’s loads of free fun taking place the last last two weeks of April, including the next CicLAvia on April 28.

CicLAvia is powered by our community, and this National Volunteer Week we’re celebrating some of the many reasons why our volunteers are so great.

In a few short weeks, the neighborhood of Wilmington will open its doors and streets to the region. In anticipation of our April 28 event, CicLAvia—Wilmington featuring LA2050, we spoke with local residents and community leaders to get their perspectives on the things that make their community so great. 

From early Earth Day celebrations to drum circles on the beach and our free CicLAvia bike safety class, the second week of April showers us with a variety of ways to get out there and explore LA.

CicLAvia Sundays are special days where you can see smiles for miles. On any given Sunday, that same feeling can be felt in communities around the globe.

From free concerts to riding along a race track and meaningful volunteer opportunities, here are some free, fun things-to-do to kick off April 2019!

The Olympic mural on Broadway is a local gem that features Board Member Valerie Brisco-Hooks, an inspiring member of the CicLAvia family. 

From farmers’ markets in historic communities to a free concert by LA Phil musicians, the last week of March offers loads of fun things-to-do in LA without spending a dime.

It’s an honor to collaborate with LA2050 for our 30th event, CicLAvia—Wilmington on April 28. We both believe in working toward a better LA. 

And together, we’re encouraging Angelenos to become active participants in shaping a future LA, defined by happier, healthier, and more connected communities.

Springtime officially arrives March 20, and the sunshine and warmer weather have returned. In celebration, we’ve gathered a list of fun free things-to-do to explore and enjoy LA this week!
